THE TRACII FOUNDATION

 for Tracii Lenee Hicks who passed away on July 3rd, 2012.

 


Tracii was a young woman who knew she didn't have many years in this life, however she was very brave and courageous, in spite of struggling with the pitfalls of kidney failure. She was making plans for her final decisions and remains, up to her very last days. She was a courageous person who always smiled, who was a loving mother to her daughter, Arione, and who lived everyday as if it were her last...with a spirit and zest for 'living', that many of us take for granted. She set an example for us all.

 

 

Janeska, the producer of this Event, was Tracii's mother, and is developing a Foundation in her name for  the courageous youth struggling with emotional or physical illness and transplant issues. She believes that youth from ages 3 - 21, especially, need a mentorship program, that upholds, uplifts, and inspires them to live their best lives, while they have it. Not only will there be mentorship programs, the Tracii Foundation will incorporate some hands-on experiences through Programs that help turn 'dreams into realities' for youth with various illnesses.

 

The Tracii Foundation would love to partner with organizations like Jaime Oliver's Foundation http://www.jamieoliver.com/us/foundation/ for the youth who love cooking and nutrition, and the www.letsmove.org.gov started by Michelle Obama to get youth to be more aware of movement and health prevention. We will also add musicians who can teach youth a musical skill for those youth interested in music. There will be phone banks to call and activities on various levels so these youth can attain their greatest truth, love and joy within their souls and spirits, instead of dousing their greatest feelings with drugs. The benefits of this program are unlimited beyond anyone's imagination!

 

The Vision and Mission for the mentorships through The Tracii Foundation will be to hire compassionate listeners and mentors all over the country and eventually all over the world to be the support for youth struggling with emotional & physical illnesses, or who have transplant issues. These will be grandmothers, young people, parents and others who simply know HOW to listen and support others in need; not to mention all the professional organizations that will be involved, on various levels, and with various implementations of their own, as well.

 

Many young people (ill or not) are unable to talk to their family or friends. Many people are unable to afford psychiatrists, so The Tracii Foundation will be the buffer,  the help, and the one place they can turn, for this kind of hands-on support. They will be able to pick up a phone, call someone and actually have someone LISTEN to what they are experiencing and be able to comfort, support, uplift, and inspire them, in all kinds of ways. They will also be able to direct and guide them to activities that they have a desire for.

 

The Tracii Foundation will connect these two sides, offering jobs to people who really need them, training to the people who will apply for these positions, and offering solace and inspiration to those who have no where else to turn.

 

 

If you feel in your heart that you would like to donate anything, we will welcome any amount from $1.00 on. We are in the process of developing this Foundation, so it will be a 5013c, upon approval. Any donations given are not considered 'charitable', as of yet. so we are making you aware of that here. We recommend small donations of any kind, as setting up a Foundation, has its' own costs, as well. To honor women, to embrace women, and to allow women to have their VERY OWN SPECIAL DAY, Klassic Entertainment Corporation, is giving their First Annual BEAUTY, WELLNESS, FASHION & PAMPERING Event in Los Angeles, with lots of fun activities and incredibly unique SHOPPING, PAMPERING specialties, WELLNESS coaching, and a host of SURPRISES.


This Event WILL be the TALK OF THE TOWN, and 'Your Personal Fun-filled Holiday Shopping Experience for Women 18 & over'.

THE BEAUTY BUS FOUNDATION STORY

 

The Beauty Bus Foundation was founded in loving memory of Melissa Marantz Nealy who lost her battle with a degenerative neuromuscular disease at the age of 28. Melissa was a girly-girl who loved a good day at the spa. When her ability to leave the home became compromised, Co-Founder Alicia Marantz Liotta, Melissa’s cousin, was able to schedule in-home beauty services through her connections within the beauty industry. Witnessing the hope, happiness and respite these services brought to Melissa, Alicia and Co-Founder Wendy Marantz Levine, Melissa’s sister, were inspired to launch Beauty Bus Foundation to bring the same lift and gift of beauty to others.



JA of Southern California is a volunteer driven, not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating students about entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness, through experiential, hands-on programs. JA programs develop sustainable communities by teaching the economic relevance of staying in school.
